Big Cats and Elephants Up Close with Art Wolfe – Sept 2013

BIG CATS AND ELEPHANTS UP CLOSE WITH ART WOLFE

BIG CATS AND ELEPHANTS UP CLOSE WITH ART WOLFE

Overview

Please note this photo safari is fully “SOLD OUT”.

This photo safari provides a rare opportunity to photograph alongside the legendary photographer, Art Wolfe. Learn everything from how to capture the expanse of an African landscape to photographing the smallest details in wildlife. While you learn about technique, Art’s approach to composition will transform you photography, not merely add to it.

This small group photo safari has been created for photographers who have a passion for capturing stunning close-up images of Africa’s Big Cats and Elephants in their natural environments. The main focus of the photo safari is to give you every assistance to capture iconic images of leopards, lions, cheetahs and photograph elephants up-close from our exclusive underground hide.

There will be a big variety of other African wildlife to photograph too, you can be assured of photographing the Big Five.

The very best locations to photograph Africa’s superior predators and largest mammals have been selected:

To find out more about the camps/lodges we have selected, click on the individual links above. Linger for a while on the uniqueness of each, imagining you were there. You will appreciate the extremely high standard of accommodation we have chosen. You will experience the best of African lodges; they are world class.

Highlights

It would be a challenge to surpass the photographic opportunities for predators and up-close photography of elephants offered by this photo safari, anywhere in Africa.

You will be accompanied by two professional and passionate wildlife photographers who will provide every assistance to you – the legendary Art Wolfe (USA) and Denis Glennon AO (Australia).

Our aim is to ensure you come home with the best possible images and unforgettable memories of a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience photographing these magnificent animals.

Leopards are the most elusive and arguably the most beautiful of the African predators! They seem to choose who photographs them! Our experienced drivers/guides will track them and you will be astounded when you see how close you can get to photograph these supreme predators.

Did you ever think you might photograph an elephant herd from a perspective similar to that lying on your stomach with the nearest elephant not more than seven metres from your lens ? To get a feel for what this photographic experience might be like, play the short video clip at the bottom of the page!

With not more than four photographers/persons allowed per vehicle you will appreciate the extra space whilst photographing. This arrangement caters especially well for photographers using larger telephoto lenses and yet allows enough space for spouses/partners who just wish to sit, in peace and enjoy the special spirit of Africa.

FURTHERMORE THE PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARI IS CONFINED TO A MAXIMUM OF TWELVE PARTICIPANTS.
